The new Emmi-Nail nail polishes are 85% plant-based, and the base and top coats are even 94% plant-based . These vegan polishes contain no animal substances or animal-derived raw materials. The polishes are cruelty-free (according to Regulation 1223/2009) and TSE/BSE certified. All raw materials used are synthetic, plant-based, or inorganic. The pigments are based on natural raw materials. The materials used are considered non-nano materials according to the European Cosmetics Regulation 1223/2009. The beechwood lid is biodegradable .

20-free: Our plant-based nail polishes are free from harmful substances such as triphenyl phosphates, DPHP/dipropyl ethyl phthalate, plasticizers, glycol ethers of the E series – solvents made from ethylene, perfume ingredients such as xylenes, parabens, preservatives, silicones, tosylamide, bisphenol A, phenoxyethanol, benzophenone (UV filter/absorber), mineral oil, paraffin, melamine, polyimide or ethyl tosylamide.
