"Vegan" applies to our raw materials and also to the absence of animal testing
Our gels and plant-based nail polish are subjected to only physical tests/measurements after production. These tests concern their properties and hardening phases. We do not conduct animal testing. When it comes to the "vegan" gels from emmi®NAIL, we speak of raw materials thatexclusively synthetically producedWe have avoided anything that has anything to do with biological production, even if it involves active ingredients derived from living animals. Our house isISO 9001 certifiedThis means that every step in the process is documented and checked. Each delivery first undergoes a quality control check before it proceeds to further processing or sale.

Wetake responsibilityand thus ensure the success of ourStudio customersMore and more people are living mindfully and are looking for alternatives, including in nail design. First, we had to research and determine which raw materials are allowed in a gel labeled "VEGAN," and which must be replaced. On March 11, 2013, an EU-wide law was passed prohibiting the sale of cosmetic products containing raw materials that do not comply with animal testing regulations after this date.
Doing good for the environment with plant-based nail polishes
We avoid using nanomaterials in our plant-based nail polishes and have replaced the plastic lid with an environmentally friendly wooden cap. Packaging material has been an issue long before the advent of "vegan" nail products. For years, we have been ensuring thatenvironmentally friendly packaging materialsbe used,space-saving packagingand as little flakes or air cushioning as possible is used. As a final change, we have adapted the cardboard packaging to the average orders in order toto reduce environmentally harmful materials.
