Acrylic Gel Guide
What are acrylic gels?
Whether you want to create your desired nail art with UV gel or acrylic, the decision is now a thing of the past with this revolutionary modeling sensation. Acrylic gels combineboth methods togetherand therefore offer excellent properties.
What is the difference between acrylic gel and acrylic powder nails?
In terms of durability, acrylic gel can compete with acrylic powder. The difference between the two sculpting techniques lies in the handling. Acrylic sculpting is aTwo-component system, for which you have to buy a liquid and an acrylic powder separately.
To sculpt acrylic nails with powder, first dip your acrylic brush into the liquid and then into the acrylic powder. Speed is key when sculpting your nails, as the acrylic mixture begins to harden a few seconds after mixing.
Acrylic gel, on the other hand, isFinished productAvailable for application directly to your nails. It also cures under a UV or LED lamp, giving you plenty of time to model your nails. This makes it suitable for nail art beginners. Furthermore, small mistakes can be easily corrected with the brush.
What is the difference between UV gel and acrylic gel?
In the emmi®NAIL online shop you canBuy UV gel, which is also an excellent base for eye-catching nail art. Acrylic gels are almost identical to UV gels in terms of handling. The difference lies more in the result. Gel nails consist of several layers andtherefore appear somewhat thicker.
In contrast, acrylic gel can beapply much thinner, which also makes the nails appear thinner. It also surpasses the softer gel nails in terms of durability and hardness. Nails made with acrylic gel are just as stable and robust as acrylic nails.
