Color gels
Color gel is a UV/LED-curing, pigmented gel for coloring gel nail enhancements. It is applied to the modeled nail, cured under a suitable UV/LED lamp, and then sealed. Color gels are available in numerous colors, levels of opacity, and effects – from nude, pastel, and neon to glitter, metallic, and cat eye. They are suitable for full cover, French nails, nail art, and creative nail designs.
FAQ
Color gel is a pigmented, light-curing gel used for adding color to gel enhancements. Unlike classic nail polish, it is cured under a UV/LED lamp. It can be used for full-cover applications as well as for French tips, embellishments, or creative nail art.
Color gel is typically used as a layer of color within a gel nail enhancement. Shellac or UV nail polish, on the other hand, is applied thinly like nail polish and is particularly suitable for a natural UV manicure on the natural nail. Both product types are cured under UV/LED light.
Color gels are available in a wide range of colors and effects. In addition to classic red, pink, white, black, and nude tones, you will find, for example, pastel and neon colors as well as glitter, metallic, and cat-eye color gels. emmi®NAIL also offers special gels for stamping, blooming effects, and 3D nail art.
After building the gel extension, the color gel is applied in one or more thin layers, depending on the product, and cured under the appropriate UV/LED lamp each time. Finally, a sealing gel protects the finished nail design and provides the desired finish.
