What exactly is a fiberglass gel?
A fiberglass gel is a builder or modeling gel with small glass fibers. The fine fibers strengthen the gel, making the modeling more stable. Gel nails with fiberglass are just as strong as acrylic nails. When purchasing, make sure the gels are actually reinforced with fibers. At emmi®NAIL, you'll find fiberglass gels of the highest quality for nail salons.
Fiberglass gels have become increasingly popular in nail salons over the past few years. We take a closer look at fiberglass gels. What advantages does fiberglass gel have over other builder gels, and for which clients is it used? The new emmi®NAIL fiberglass gel is a nail gel with fiberglass particles for an extremely stablegelIts high stability allows for particularly thin nail modeling. Nevertheless, it remains flexible and does not show hairline cracks. The gel workswithout acidand is therefore very gentle on the natural nail. It is particularly suitable forTemplate extensionorNatural nail reinforcement.
For which customers is fiberglass gel used?
Fiberglass gel allows you to create very thin and strong fingernails. However, break-resistant and fiber-reinforced artificial nails aren't suitable for every client. As a nail designer, you need to carefully consider which clients fiberglass gel is best for. We've summarized some of the reasons for modeling with fiberglass gel:
- Nail extensions with tip or template, especially for nails with a strong C-curve
- hard and stable natural nails as a base
- Customers whose nails are subject to heavy wear and tear
- Pinching nail design
Can fiberglass gel be used as an adhesive gel?
Fiberglass gel contains tiny fiberglass particles that give the modeling process exceptional flexibility and stability. However, these particles are of little help when it comes to adhering the gel to the natural nail. At emmi®NAIL, you'll find fiberglass gel as a builder gel or camouflage gel. It's in this application that it truly demonstrates its strength. For the base coat, we recommend our LED Base Fluid. Acid-free gels should always be used with an acid-free primer. If you have clients in your nail salon who are interested in fiberglass gel, we offer the following fiberglass gels:
