Basically, all dust collectors are designed to thoroughly and carefully extract fine/filing dust generated in the nail salon.

The models differ mainly in the performance of the respective device. The number in the name of the dust collectors also indicates whether they have one or two motors. Thus, the "Taifun I Premium GreenTech" has one motor, while the "Taifun II Premium GreenTech" has two motors. The decisive advantage of two motors is that the noise level, in relation to the high suction power, is significantly lower.

Which Nova Flair dust collector is best suited depends particularly on your individual customer frequency.

If the budget allows, the "Taifun 2 Premium GreenTech" is generally always recommended, because with two motors, the noise level is significantly lower in relation to the high suction power.

If you work with acrylic and therefore use a synthetic activated carbon odor filter mat on your filter, then we recommend the more powerful devices for approximately 5 or more clients. These are more powerful and quieter, so they work even more efficiently and quietly when using an odor filter mat.

The following rule of thumb can be helpful when choosing a dust collector:

To ensure perfect fit, you can take the dimensions from the product description of the respective dust collector and compare them with your nail table.

Important:
The tabletop must not be "hollow" inside, otherwise the sucked-in air can be drawn into the hollow space of the tabletop and the screws will not hold. We particularly know this problem from IKEA tabletops. We therefore recommend using a solid wood board.

1. Unplug the power cord
2. Loosen the black thumb screws on the front and remove the front panel
3. Pull out the filter and the dust collection tray simultaneously
4. Carefully vacuum the dust side of the filter between the fins with a crevice nozzle attachment
5. Clean the dust collection tray and, if necessary, disinfect it with an alcohol-free solution
6. Insert the dust collection tray and filter correctly (pay attention to the label on the filter)
7. Screw the front panel back on securely

The dust collector is equipped with a QR code, located on either the left or right side of the device. Scan the QR code to access technical data, operating instructions, as well as warranty and repair information and videos.

Please note that according to our safety instructions, no modifications may be made to the devices, as this will void the warranty. Repairs may only be carried out by us or by an authorized specialist after our approval. Work carried out by external service providers must always be documented.

Important note:
The breakage of the potentiometer shaft does not constitute a warranty claim. This damage is usually caused by improper handling, such as getting caught on clothing or accidental bumps with the knee or leg. A metallic potentiometer shaft cannot break during normal use, such as turning the knob.

Cleaning at the following intervals is strongly recommended:

Volume per day:

2-3 clients (low) ~ 1x weekly

4-7 clients (normal) ~ 1-2x weekly

7+ clients (high) ~ 2x weekly

As the filter capacity is increasingly exhausted, air resistance increases, causing your dust collector to become louder. This is an indication that the filters need to be cleaned.

Regular replacement with original Nova Flair products maintains the 15-year warranty. Your dust collector will thank you with maximum filter and performance efficiency.

A filter change at the following intervals is strongly recommended:

The black synthetic activated carbon filter mat (odor filter mat) is attached to the filter and serves to absorb and neutralize unpleasant and strong odors. In addition to its odor-neutralizing effect, it also prevents possible allergic reactions.

Therefore, if you work with acrylic, liquids, adhesives, or gels, we strongly recommend using the synthetic odor filter mat.

You only need the white filter fleece mats if you have a Taifun dust collector manufactured between 2009 and 2012. All newer devices no longer require them.
