Basically, all dust extractors have the task of thoroughly and carefully extracting the fine/filing dust generated in the nail studio.

Which Nova Flair dust extractor is best suited depends primarily on your individual client volume.

If the budget allows, the "Hurrican 2 GreenTech" is always recommended, because its two motors significantly reduce the noise level relative to the high suction power.

If you work with acrylic and therefore use a synthetic odor filter mat on your filter, then we recommend the more powerful devices for approx. 5 clients or more. These are more powerful and quieter, making them even more efficient and quieter when using an odor filter mat.

The following rule of thumb can be helpful when choosing a dust extractor:

To accurately determine the fit, you can check the dimensions in the product description of each dust extractor and compare them with your nail table.

Important:
The tabletop must not be "hollow" inside, as this could cause the drawn air to enter the hollow space of the tabletop and the screws would not hold. We particularly know this problem from IKEA tabletops. We therefore recommend using a solid wood board.

1. Unplug the power cord
2. Loosen the black knurled screws on the front and remove the front panel
3. Pull out the filter and the dust tray beneath it simultaneously
4. Carefully vacuum the dust side of the filter between the fins with a crevice tool attachment
5. Clean the dust tray and disinfect it with an alcohol-free solution if necessary
6. Reinsert the dust tray and filter correctly (note the label on the filter)
7. Tighten the front panel again

The dust extractor is equipped with a QR code, located on either the left or right side of the device. Scan the QR code to access technical data, operating instructions, warranty and repair information, and videos.

Please note that according to our safety instructions, no modifications may be made to the devices, as this will void the warranty. Repairs may only be carried out by us or by an authorized specialist after our approval. Work carried out by external service providers must always be documented.

Important note:
The breakage of the potentiometer shaft does not constitute a warranty case. This damage usually occurs due to improper handling, such as snagging on clothing or accidental bumps with the knee or leg. A metallic potentiometer shaft cannot break during normal use, such as turning the knob.

Cleaning at the following intervals is strongly recommended:

Daily volume:

2-3 clients (low) ~ 1x weekly

4-7 clients (normal) ~ 1-2x weekly

7+ clients (high) ~ 2x weekly

As the filter capacity is increasingly exhausted, air resistance increases, making your dust extractor louder. This indicates that the filters need to be cleaned.

Regular replacement with original Nova Flair products maintains the 15-year warranty. Your dust extractor will thank you with maximum filtering and performance capabilities.

The black synthetic activated carbon filter mat (odor filter mat) is attached to the filter and serves to absorb and neutralize unpleasant and strong odors. In addition to its odor-neutralizing effect, it also prevents possible allergic reactions.

Therefore, if you work with acrylics, liquids, adhesives or gels, we strongly recommend using the synthetic odor filter mat.
