Emmi-dent K2 attachments have a smaller brush head and are particularly suitable for ultrasonic tooth cleaning in children. Adults with small jaws can reach the back molars better with the K2 attachments. The replacement brush heads for the emmi®-dent Metallic and Go generate 100% original emmi®-dent ultrasound. The special piezo chip (ultrasound generator) is patented and sits directly behind the bristles in the attachment. It is excited to up to 95 million vibrations per minute and transmits the ultrasonic waves via the bristles directly into the toothpaste. The innovative 2-pin connector system makes the brush head easy to attach and remove.

How to use an ultrasonic toothbrush?

This new way of cleaning teeth works without scrubbing or pressure. The brush head is simply moved gently over the teeth. Please use our special ultrasonic toothpaste with the emmi®-dent brush. The unique formula creates the necessary microbubbles to remove dirt and plaque. One 75-milliliter tube is sufficient for approximately six weeks.

The brush head reaches two to three teeth, depending on the shape of the tooth. After approximately 6 seconds on the teeth, move the ultrasonic toothbrush to the next teeth. Repeat this process until all teeth are clean. A tooth cleaning takes approximately 3 minutes . Afterward, simply wipe off any loosened dirt, starting from the gums, and rinse your mouth as usual.

When do I need to change the brush heads?

The ultrasonic heads can be used for three months and should then be replaced. The bristle structure changes over time due to the ultrasonic waves and, after a certain period of time, no longer transmits the ultrasound at 100%. For optimal tooth cleaning, remember to change the heads four times a year.
