What do I need for UV nail polish?

The optimal preparation for UV nail polish is a little more time-consuming than painting with conventional nail polish. However, it's worth the effort because with our emmi®NAIL nail polish, you'll achieve a beautiful and stable result that lasts.AidsYou should have ready:

This is how the UV varnish is applied to the nails step by step:

1.) Remove cuticles and shape nails

First, prepare your nails for your new nail design. Shape them as desired. Use a professional nail file with 240 or 180 grit. The grit indicates how coarse the file is. The higher the number, the finer the file. Next, remove the cuticles with the Pro Pusher. 2.) Degrease the nail plate thoroughly

The next step is to degrease the nail with nail polish remover or cleaner. Cleaner ensures that the nail plate is clean and removes the condensation after curing. Finally, carefully mattify your fingernails with a buffer. Roughening the surface promotes adhesion and makes the UV varnish last longer. It's important not to touch the fingernail again afterward to prevent it from becoming greasy again.

3.) Primer for perfect hold

Now the real work begins: Apply a thin layer of UV Base/Top Coat to your nails as a primer and cure it in the light curing unit. Cure for approximately 120 seconds in the UV unit or approximately 60 seconds in the UV/LED unit. The resulting condensation layer—also called the inhibition layer—is slightly sticky and serves as the base for all subsequent color coats. It will not be removed in this step.

4.) Colored nail polish for the wow effect

Next, spread the UV color polish over your nails, also covering the nail tip. After applying the polish, the layer must be cured again in the lamp. If you want the color to be even more intense, simply apply another coat after curing until you are satisfied with the result. Please remember to make each layer as thin as possible. 5.) Sealant for ultimate shine

The final layer consists of the transparent base/top coat, which must be cured in a UV or LED lamp. For the perfect finish, clean the final inhibition layer with our High-Gloss Cleaner. How can I remove UV nail polish?

You've probably experienced this with conventional nail polish: Your nails are freshly painted and the polish starts flaking – even after the simplest of tasks.
