What makes Glitter Color Gels special?

The most important difference from a classic color gel is the included effect particles. These reflect incident light and thus create the typical glitter or shimmer effect.

How intense the result appears depends, among other things, on the color, size, shape, and concentration of the glitter particles as well as the opacity of the gel used.

This means that glitter gels can have very different effects: from a fine, barely visible shimmer to a highly sparkling surface.

Glitter Gel as a Full Cover

For particularly intense Glitter Nails the glitter gel can be applied to the entire nail surface. A full cover is suitable, for example, for festive designs, party nails, or seasonal looks.

Depending on the opacity and desired effect, the gel can be applied in several thin layers. Each layer is fully cured under UV/LED light according to the instructions of the respective product.

Glitter Gel for French, Ombré, and Nail Art

Glitter color gel does not have to cover the entire nail. It is also suitable for targeted nail art.

A classic French tip can, for example, be designed with glitter instead of white French gel. With a Glitter Ombré the concentration of the glitter particles is changed towards the nail tip or the nail bed.

Individual accent nails can also be designed with glitter. This can specifically highlight an otherwise simple color design.

Combining Glitter Gel with Other Color Gels

Glitter gel becomes particularly versatile when combined with classic color gels. One color can serve as a base and then be complemented with a matching glitter effect.

Tone-on-tone combinations look harmonious, while contrasting glitter colors create stronger accents.

Silver and gold can, for example, be combined with numerous colors, while Rosé, red, blue, or black glitter can be specifically matched to a certain color concept.

Glitter Gel or Loose Nail Art Glitter?

Both options enable sparkling nail designs, but differ in application.

With Glitter Gel the glitter particles are already in the gel. The product can therefore be applied similarly to a classic color gel.

Loose nail art glitter is, on the other hand, processed separately. This allows the amount and placement of the particles to be determined particularly individually.

Which Glitter Gel Suits My Nail Design?

The choice depends primarily on the desired intensity and color combination.

For elegant designs, for example, White, Silver, Nude, or Champagne Glitter are suitable. Pink and Rosé look playful or feminine, while bold red, blue, turquoise, or black can create more striking accents.
