Artificial nails don't have to be immediately noticeable. You can also naturally lengthen or strengthen your nails with UV gel. We've compiled a few options.

To make your gel nails look like your natural nails, we recommend using makeup gel. Makeup gel is also known as camouflage gel or cover gel. It conceals blemishes and color variations in your natural nails. Because we all have different skin types, they are available in a variety of colors. UV gel can be used to visually lengthen the nail bed, which is especially helpful for very short or damaged nails.

Our nail shop offers three types of cover gel. Medium-viscosity cover gels are medium-firm and are used over the builder gel or single-phase gel, like a color gel.

The more stable gels are also suitable as a builder gel for shaping and concealing the nail. They are used for nail extensions. We recommend Fiber Gel for this because it is very stable yet flexible. If you need to work on sensitive nails, the acid-free Super-Strong series offers a wide selection of natural shades and colors for French nail art.

The Studioline even offers full-coverage, single-phase gels for beginners. These are acid-free and self-leveling. Especially when you're first starting out with artificial nails, you'll want to use the all-in-one version.

Nail art for natural nails

The classic nail design is and remains the French look. A smooth nail, whether short or long, is adorned with a white tip. The design possibilities are virtually endless.

Before you start with any additional nail art, the most important thing is a clean transition from the makeup to the white French line. This works best if you first work the French line and then "dock" the concealer gel. However, everyone has their own technique here, and you'll have to experiment for yourself whether you want to conceal first and then add the white, or cover the entire nail and place the French line over it.

Now you're spoiled for choice. Once you've got the technique down, you can really let your hair down in our nail shop and order all your nail products on account. Perhaps a French style with glitter gel or a colored gel in this year's trend color? Anything goes, and there's plenty of room, especially on stiletto nails.

Stamping stencils let you stamp stunning designs onto your nails in no time. From hearts to flowers and tribal motifs, with the right polish, you can create a quick and lasting design. Glitter, sequins, and more add extra glamour.

Natural nails without gel

Of course, you can also cover your nails with acrylic powder. The principle is the same, only the application is different. When working with acrylic, you don't need a light curing device. The powder-and-liquid system dries after a certain amount of time in the air. Therefore, it's more suitable for professionals and advanced nail designers.

You can also create a natural look on your nails with regular nail polish. The nude shades of the polish from our Emmi®-Nail online shop are easy to apply and provide good coverage. To change the color, simply remove them with nail polish remover and a tissue.

If you want long-lasting color on your nails with minimal effort, our Emmi Shellac is the best choice. Combined with a base/top coat and a UV lamp, this UV nail polish in natural nude colors can be easily applied to the nail. With remover and a tissue, it's easy to remove for the next color.
