A tick bite can cause Lyme disease or tick-borne encephalitis ( TBE ), for example.

The emmi®-skin tick and mosquito repellent is particularly useful on hikes, picnics, or while exercising outdoors. Mosquitoes and ticks rely on exhaled carbon dioxide and the smell of sweat when searching for food. The intensive active ingredients in the tick and mosquito repellent can mask these scents , thus preventing bites and the resulting illnesses. For children under 2 years of age and for people with sensitive skin, test on a small area of skin first.

How is emmi®-skin tick and mosquito protection used?

In summer, when temperatures are warm, you can get protection in a bottle with a pump spray function for on-the-go use. The high-quality copra oil solidifies at temperatures below 18-20°C. Please do not remove the pump function when it solidifies, as it will then become unusable and the pump function will no longer work. Simply warm the bottle slightly in warm water or in the sun to make the contents liquid again. During the winter months, we will switch to a jar.
